Quran Khawani, the major ritual, will take place in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh in Larkana.

The local authorities will be present at the event to celebrate Shaheed Bhutto’s accomplishments in bringing democracy to the nation.

The Sindh government has declared Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s death anniversary as a public holiday.

Under the dictatorship of General (retired) Ziaul Haq, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto received a death sentence.

A trial was held for the country’s first elected prime minister, who was accused of killing political challenger Nawab Mohammed Ahmed Qasuri.

On April 4, 1979, Bhutto was hung in the face of numerous heads of state pleading for mercy and clemency.

It is important to note that the Pakistani Supreme Court already stated that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto did not have a “fair trial” and expressed its guarded view regarding the presidential reference against the “controversial” death sentence imposed on the former prime leader.
