This year, rice exports from Pakistan will surpass $4 billion, according to REAP Chairman

According to the facts, rice exports this year have already surpassed the $3.5 billion mark, according to REAP chairman Chela Ram Kewlani. In March, Pakistani rice exports set a record.

A total of five million tons of rice were exported this season, while Pakistan harvested a bumper crop of nine million tons of rice this year.

Additionally, Chairman Rice Exporter stated that Russia, Mexico, Indonesia, and the Philippines have begun to import rice from Pakistan.

Europe has received 500,000 tons of brown rice exports from Pakistan this year, a rise in the commodity’s exports from Pakistan.
