During the past twenty-four hours, Pakistan’s upper regions have been subjected to intense rainfall.
Up until Thursday, the Met Office had forecasted that there would be severe rainfall in many different locations of the country.
There is a low-pressure system that is currently located over West Bengal, and it is anticipated that it will move westward in the following days and approach the southern regions of Canada.
A strong monsoon current is predicted to be brought by this low-pressure system, which will have a disproportionately negative impact on southern regions. As a result of the torrential rainfall, low-lying areas in the southeastern and lower Sindh regions may experience pluvial flooding and possible inundation.
