Her funeral prayers are set to take place at Wali Bagh, Charsadda, at 5:30 p.m. today.
President Asif Zardari sent his condolences to Asfandyar Wali Khan and his family, expressing his sadness at his passing. He said, “My condolences and prayers are with the bereaved in this hour of sorrow.”
In the same vein, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed his condolences for Asfandyar Wali’s wife’s passing.
Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, also conveyed her sorrow over the death of Asfandyar Wali’s wife. She shared in the grieving family’s time of loss by sending her sympathies.
