There is currently no longer a visitation restriction in place in Adiala Jail.
The Punjab government implemented a restriction, which, according to sources, would stay in effect until further notice for security-related reasons.
Both ordinary prisoners and political prisoners are impacted by this ban.
A visitation ban of all kinds was previously declared by the Punjab government to remain in effect from October 4 to October 18. On October 18, the restriction was extended for an additional two days.
