In the wake of his recent visit to China, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued orders to open Business Facilitation Centers throughout the nation. The execution of this program is being aided by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
First established in Islamabad, these centers will be spread throughout other provinces and will be fashioned after China’s strategy in Shenzhen. Under one roof, they hope to offer complete services to investors and businesspeople from around the world.
Licenses, permits, and NOCs are just a few of the services that the facility will provide. These centers aim to lower bureaucratic barriers and speed up document processing for business start-ups and growth by bringing together pertinent government entities.
By copying the successful concept seen in China, where comparable centers in Shenzhen provide all business-related services in a single location, the government is attempting to make it easier to do business in Pakistan.
