Special Umrah flights have begun to operate from Quetta to Saudi Arabia on Pakistan International Airlines.
Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, the governor of Balochistan, thanked Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PIA officials during the inaugural event at Quetta airport for granting the province’s residents’ long-standing request.
There will be two weekly flights as part of the PIA flight operation, beginning on August 6.
145 people were able to travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah thanks to the inaugural flight.
