The second “international food and agriculture exhibition” saw product sales of over 1.2 billion dollars thanks to the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
In an effort to encourage commerce and investment among the participating nations, the exhibition included the “Pak-China Agricultural Investment Conference” and the “Pak-Africa Investment Conference.”
Meetings with different delegations were fruitful, with the Federal Minister of Commerce concentrating on bilateral commerce, agricultural exports, and the growth of the halal market.
A conference centered around “business opportunities in Africa” was organized, with a focus on promoting trade and investment between Pakistan and African countries.
The chief executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, Muhammad Zubair Motiwala, expressed optimism that the Prime Minister’s aims will be met with the help of the 1.2 billion dollars in export orders.
In order to promote mechanized farming and production in Pakistan, he also highlighted a future food agricultural manufacturing event in Lahore.
