The seventh Trade and Investment Promotion Conference between Pakistan and the United Kingdom took place on Tuesday at Birmingham City Council Hall.
The Chambers of Commerce of Greater Birmingham and Rawalpindi jointly organized the Investment Conference.
The majority of attendees at the conference were businessmen from the United Kingdom and representatives of traders from Pakistan.
The meeting was hosted by Dr. Nasir Awan, President of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. In his welcoming remarks to the visiting traders, Birmingham’s Lord Mayor, Ken Wood, described the conference as a turning point in the development of bilateral trade.
