Security Procedures at PCAA Airport Approved: Canadian Group Performs 4-Day Aviation Security Evaluation

Noting that the security protocols at PCAA Airport adhere to international standards and best practices, the Transport Canada Aviation Security inspectors expressed their appreciation for the work done.

JIAP, Karachi’s four-day Aviation Security Assessment by the Transport Canada Assessment Team.

AVSEC Director Air Commodore (Retd.) Shahid Qadir oversaw the assessment, which was conducted by Transportation Security Inspectors Barbara Durette and Abdel Tahir under the direction of PCAA.

The screening of passengers and their belongings, perimeter security, cargo and catering security, and security procedures for direct flights to Canada were among the many security measures that were scrutinized.

The assessment team evaluated access control, aircraft protection, security searches, and associated protocols while keeping an eye on the security measures for PICA flights to Toronto.
