For the post-Hajj season, the Saudi Press Agency reports that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has started to issue Umrah visas.

Following the conclusion of the yearly Hajj pilgrimage on Wednesday, visas for Umrah are issued.

In order to serve more pilgrims travelling for the Hajj and Umrah and to ensure that their needs and desires are met, the ministry declared that it is carefully carrying out the leadership’s instructions.

For one month starting on May 23, the ministry stopped providing Umrah permits via the Nusuk application. The intention behind this was to make it easier and more comfortable for the pilgrims who were performing the Hajj, who had started to arrive in Makkah from all over the world.

The Ministry declared that starting on June 21, or Zilhajj 15, the Nusuk App would once again be providing Umrah permits.

Resuming the issuance of Umrah visas would enable pilgrims to enter the Kingdom more easily, according to a recent statement from the ministry. The Hajj season ends just after this yearly initiative.

In order to assist Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and streamline their rites, the ministry said in a statement that it makes use of its experience and develops technical and field programmes.
