The team management made the announcement in an effort to provide Hasan the opportunity to complete his county cricket obligations.
Hasan was initially chosen to cover for Haris Rauf’s injuries.
Prior to the T20I series against England and Ireland, Pakistan had confirmed an 18-person team; however, that number will drop to 15 for the World Cup.
