Rainfall lashes some areas of the nation; more is expected till Thursday.

Rainfall was reported across the nation as the Met Office expected further heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms into Thursday.

Rain, wind, and thundershowers are expected throughout the predicted period in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Northeast/South Punjab, Pothohar Region, Islamabad, and Northeast/Southeast Balochistan, according to the Met Office.

In Potohar and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, there may also be sporadic heavy rainfall during the evening and night. In several regions of the nation, temperatures are predicted to be high and dry.

With the approach of the monsoon system, the Met Office issued a warning about possible floods, including urban flooding in low-lying regions.

Significant showers are expected in major cities like Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Gujranwala. The forecast called for moderate rainfall in Northeastern Punjab.

There is also a forecast for rain during this period in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, specifically in Malakand, Hazara Division, and Peshawar.

Rain is predicted in the Kirthar and Sulaiman Mountain Ranges, Quetta, Pishin, Qalat Division, and other areas of Balochistan.

Nor is there much chance of mild to moderate rainfall in Northern Sindh.

To reduce the hazards connected with possible floods, the public is recommended to stay up to current on weather reports and take the appropriate preparations.
