Rainfall is expected to start on August 14th evening and continue until August 18th, as per the PDMA, due to the effect of the weather system.
In the southern areas of Punjab, rain and thunderstorms are predicted from August 15 to August 18, with sporadic breaks.

According to the meteorological office, a low-pressure system that is currently bringing heavy rain to parts of India’s northwest is expected to proceed into central Pakistan, carrying moisture from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea.
