In an effort to boost staff morale and increase productivity, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the country’s flag airline, has offered a salary increase for its daily wage workers.
The decision states that starting on July 1, 2024, the national flag airline will hike daily salaries by Rs 5,000, bringing the monthly income to Rs 37,000. In this respect, the business formally released a notice.
This salary scale increase is a component of PIA’s larger plan to enhance employee working conditions and operational efficiency.
An inspired workforce and improved performance are anticipated, according to the airline’s CEO, as a result of salary increases.
