Pakistan’s gold prices decline

Ten grams of 24 carat gold cost Rs. 258 less than two years ago, at Rs. 219,907, while ten grams of 22 carat gold cost Rs. 201,582 less than two years ago, at Rs. 201,817, according to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Silver prices per tola and per gram stayed at Rs. 2,900 and 2,486.28, respectively.

According to the Association, the price of gold dropped by $16 to $2,427 from $2,443 on the global market.

24 carat gold sold for Rs. 256,800 per tola on Saturday, a Rs. 500 drop in price.

Moreover, the cost of 10 grams of 24 carat gold dropped by Rs. 429 to Rs. 220,165 from Rs. 220,593, while the cost of 10 kilos of 22 carat gold dropped to Rs. 201,817 from Rs. 202,210, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.

Silver prices per tola and per gram stayed at Rs. 2,900 and 2,486.28, respectively.

The Association stated that the price of gold on the global market dropped by $15, to $2,443 from $2,458.

The increase in rates is attributed by market analysts to a number of variables, such as changes in the global market, exchange rates, and overall economic conditions.
