Withholding him from entry and designating him as “persona non grata,” Pakistan has denounced Israel for its baseless and defamatory assaults on UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
In an interview with app, Munir Akram, Pakistan’s permanent envoy to the UN in New York, stated that Pakistan fully supports the UN secretary-general and applauds his brave and principled stance on the Middle East situation, particularly the aggression against Lebanon and the atrocities in Gaza.
He asserted that the UN is a cornerstone of international law.
According to Munir Akram, insults and mistreatment are the tools used by oppressors and aggressors.
After he demanded a stop to the deplorable cycle of escalation in the Middle East, UN Chief Antonio Guterres faced the anger of Israel, which labelled him persona non grata.
