Pakistani film star Kubra Khan has revealed that her interest in cricket is solely kindled by one player—Naseem Shah.
Despite the widespread excitement surrounding the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024, the 30-year-old actress admitted in a recent interview that she is not particularly invested in the sport. However, she confessed that the young fast-bowling sensation Naseem Shah is the exception to her general disinterest.
“Naseem is the best player in our cricket team, and the way he played against India in the T20 World Cup was admirable,” said Kubra Khan.
She also expressed her dismay over the criticism faced by talented players despite their commendable performances, highlighting the often harsh scrutiny athletes endure.
Naseem Shah, who has rapidly become a heartthrob, is no stranger to admiration from celebrities. Indian actress Urvashi Rautela previously declared her fandom for the 21-year-old cricketer, sparking rumors of a connection during the Asia Cup 2022.
