NEPRA states that all customer categories—with the exception of electric vehicle charging stations (EVCS) and lifeline consumers—will be subject to the tariff increase due to fuel costs adjustment (FCA).

Customers’ June electricity bills will increase due to the most recent increase in electricity costs.

The quarterly fuel adjustment resulted in an increase of Rs3.76 per unit in the price of power by the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) on Tuesday.

The hike will be in effect for the months of June, July, and August of this year, according to a notice released by the electricity regulator.
