The Met Office forecasted further rain with sporadic heavyfalls through tomorrow, and rain did fall in a few locations in the country’s upper regions.
In Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, additional rain, windstorms, and thundershowers are predicted during the forecast period, according to the Met Office.
The regions of Kashmir, Upper Sindh, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Northeastern Punjab, and Southern and Northeastern Balochistan are expected to see heavy precipitation.
Even though urban flooding can occur in low-lying parts of big cities, torrential rainfall can trigger flash floods in nearby streams in hilly places. During this wet season, landslides may also shut down roads in exposed hilly regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, and Galiyat.
