There was mild rain in Korangi, Saddar, and the neighbouring suburbs of Karachi. Following clouds hanging over the city, it began to drizzle in Shah Faisal Colony, Malir Cantt, North Nazimabad, Clifton, Boat Basin, Drigh Road, and the adjacent regions.
A westerly wave has arrived in Balochistan, according to a meteorological report from the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Gwadar, a port town in Balochistan, had intense rains that submerged low-lying parts of the city. At Gwadar’s Hospital Road and Airport Road, the rainwater was standing.
The Makran coastline region is expected to get rain and thunderstorms, according to the Met Office.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department had earlier reported that a westerly wave was prevailing across Balochistan’s southwest and south. It forecasted rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Makran’s coastal regions.
A light wind-thunderstorm combination is also anticipated in remote sections of Kashmir and the nearby highland regions.
