ASF spokesperson Habib claimed that the traveller had covertly concealed 748 grams of narcotics in his shoes.

The ASF agents discovered the drugs in the shoes during the search and stopped the attempted smuggling.

The distance between Bacha Khan International Airport and Islamabad is around 180 miles, and it takes two hours to go there along the modern M-1 road.

The airport’s history dates back to 1927, when a tiny airstrip served a large number of aircraft from the British Empire that were either heading eastward or continuing their journey.
