Karachi reports Five months and 211 instances of chikungunya

An advisory on managing and halting the spread of chikungunya, a virus resembling dengue fever, has been released by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

causes chikungunya.

Chikungunya is an illness comparable to dengue fever that is spread to humans by Aedes mosquitoes, according to Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Bharat, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for National Health Services.

According to Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Bharat, Karachi has reported the majority of cases, while other areas have also been impacted.

The prime minister’s coordinator indicated that the majority of cases worldwide were traced back to Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa.

In order to stop the disease from spreading, Dr. Ahmed Bharat emphasized the significance of adopting preventative measures.
