All those who have been harmed by terrorism, including citizens, law enforcement officers, and security forces, were honored by President Asif Ali Zardari.

The President emphasized in his speech on the International Day of Remembrance and Tribute To Terrorist Victims the intense anguish and grief that befell the families of those who lost loved ones to terrorist attacks.

He emphasized the subject for this year, “victims of terrorism as peace advocates and educators,” to remind people of the vital role that survivors play in advancing peace and spreading knowledge of the terrible effects of violent extremism.

President Zardari reflected on the significant toll Pakistan has suffered over the course of its two-decade fight against terrorism.

He declared that thousands of people, including security personnel, had died, including former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who was martyred by terrorists.
