In Bannu, CTD eliminates the most wanted TTP terrorist

The CTD stated in detail that the Talgai area of Wazir Tehsil of the Bannu district was the site of the CTD’s intelligence-based anti-terror operation.

Umar, also known as Mustafa, a TTP militant, was slain during the operation. From the deceased terrorist’s possession, the CTD retrieved firearms and hand grenades.

The terrorist who was killed was wanted in relation to incidents involving explosives, killing targets, and assaults on law enforcement.

The terrorist was affiliated with the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, according to the CTD official.

During an action in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) killed two terrorists belonging to a banned outfit in a separate operation.

Terrorists opened fire during an operation conducted by law enforcement personnel in Lakki Marwat. Two terrorists were killed by gunfire in retaliation, and others managed to escape the area.

The statement added that authorities were looking for the terrorists in connection with many target killings, bomb explosions, and other incidents. The terrorists were also preparing to attack important institutions.

In addition, the CTD agents found weapons, ammo, and grenades among the deceased terrorists.
