It is made clear that people who use 200 units will not be charged additional fees.
For units 301 to 400, Nepra says users will pay Rs200 a month, units 401 to 500, Rs400 a month, and units 501 to 600, Rs600 a month.
Customers who use 601 to 700 units will be charged Rs600 per month, customers who use 800 to 1000 units will be charged Rs800 per month, and customers who use more than 1000 units will be charged a set charge of Rs1000 per month. The energy delivery companies (Discos) want to make more money, so they are raising these fixed charges.
