General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff, has stated his intention to make improvements to the military alliance between Belarus and Pakistan.
He was in Islamabad speaking with Roman Golovchenko, the prime minister of Belarus.
Discussions on bilateral security and defense cooperation between the two countries as well as regional dynamics were covered at the meeting.
Additionally, Pakistan’s gratitude for Belarus’s contributions to regional and international issues was reiterated by the army chief.
The Pakistani Armed Forces have played a crucial role in fostering peace and stability in the region, and the prime minister of Belarus has praised them for their professionalism and selflessness in the war against terrorism.
