ISALABAD (News Dunya) – For the fiscal year 2023–24, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet approved a technical supplemental grant of Rs 7.15 billion for the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training’s “Actions To Strengthen Performance For Inclusive And Responsive Education (ASPIRE)” programme.
The ECC meeting was headed by Dr. Shamshad Akhtar, Caretaker Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, according to a news statement from the Finance Ministry.
The 7th Population and Housing Census Technical Supplementary Grant of four billion rupees was also approved by the Economic Coordination Committee.
The ECC also authorised a Technical Supplementary Grant under a Japanese grant for Lahore’s clean drinking water supply and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s rural roads devastated by flooding.
The Committee approved the summary of the all-inclusive Sustainable Plan for Gilgit-Baltistan’s Subsidised Wheat Price Rationalisation.
In addition, further funding of 1591.624 million rupees was allocated for the purpose of recruiting experts and purchasing servers.
The Ministry of Aviation has been cleared to receive a 500 million rupee Technical Supplementary Grant by the Economic Coordination Committee.
