According to Maulana Fazl ur Rehman’s JUI quota, women from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have a reserved seat in the National Assembly, according to an ECP notice.
The party has asked the electoral commission to revoke its notice and launch an investigation into the situation.
“Sadaf Ihsan,” who was notified of the reserved seat, “has not been a member of the party, nor has the JUI submitted this name in its preference list to the ECP,” the JUI stated in their appeal.
The JUI has begged the electoral authority to revoke its notification and issue a new one designating Hina Bibi as the party’s representative in the reserved seat.
