Minister of Information for Punjab Azma Bokhari stated on Friday that certain political figures attempted to use social media improperly to play with the lives of defenceless youngsters.
The provincial minister claimed in an interview with reporters that plans were being made to disturb the tranquilly in Punjab. She advised against making threats over the phone and insisted that anyone claiming that the college had an incident should provide proof.
She noted that girls’ lives and honour, particularly in Punjab, were not “cheap,” and that parents, teachers, and the media have obligations as well.
