Confirmation of the 13th case of polio this year from Killa Abdullah, Balochistan, has been provided by the National Emergency Operations Center.

Dr. Malik Mukhtar Bharat, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator for National Health Services, expressed alarm over the rising number of cases of polio being discovered in Balochistan and stated that the government’s top goal is to protect children from this deadly disease.
