According to the Pakistan Army’s media wing, he was speaking with Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, who called on him during his official visit to the Kingdom.
Crown Prince Salman has voiced his wish to develop bilateral relations with Pakistan.
Mohammad Bin Salman stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will continue to support Pakistan in the future, according to ISPR.
He emphasised that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have long-standing brotherly and robust relations, and that both countries have always stood up for one another.
During his visit, the Army Chief met with Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces General Fayyadh Bin Hamed Al Ruwaili, Saudi Assistant Minister of Defence Engineer Talal Abdullah Al Otaibi, and other senior military leaders.
A wide range of mutually beneficial issues were discussed, including regional peace and security as well as bilateral defence and security cooperation.
The Army Chief thanked the Saudi rulers for their kind words and support for Pakistan.
Earlier, the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, called Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to express his congratulations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz praised the Saudi crown prince for the phone call and the warm message of congratulations he sent shortly after taking office.
