Chinese individuals will have impenetrable security, and Chinese firms will receive full support, according to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
An extensive debate on the security of Chinese citizens working on various projects in Pakistan took place during a conference in Lahore with representatives of the Chinese business sector, chaired by Counsel General Zhao Shiren.
Security personnel from the Federal Government and Punjab attended the meeting to discuss security protocols for safeguarding Chinese nationals and enterprises operating in Pakistan.
In addition to announcing that Chinese people can apply online for a Pakistani visa starting on August 14, the interior minister gave the Chinese delegation assurances about the government of Pakistan’s support for them.
Mohsin Naqvi also considered the security recommendations from China.
The Chinese Counsel General referred to the Interior Minister as a friend of China and expressed optimism for the meeting’s results.
