Attacks Against Law Enforcement Agencies And The Police Will Not Be Tolerable, Say The President And The Prime Minister

The attack on the police convoy in the Kacha area of Rahim Yar Khan has been strongly denounced by President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

They conveyed their anguish and sorrow in their remarks regarding the police officers’ martyrdom in the graphic drama.

The President offered the families of the police officers slain in the assault his sympathies.

The president underlined how serious it is to bring perpetrators in the Kacha region to justice.

As per his statement, there would be no tolerance for attacks against law enforcement and police.

Nevertheless, the Prime Minister conveyed his profound sadness and grief at the police officers’ martyrdom.

The prime minister said a prayer for the martyrs’ families to have patience and for them to be elevated in rank.

Along with ordering that the greatest medical facilities be made available to the injured police officers, he also prayed for their prompt recovery.

He gave the order to repel the assault in the Kacha region with promptitude and efficiency.

Identifying and prosecuting the attackers has also been ordered by the prime minister.

In spite of the danger to themselves, he applauded police officers and staff for their bravery and commitment to stopping criminals.

Simultaneously, Mohsin Naqvi, the interior minister, paid respect to the police personnel who had died and expressed his profound grief and remorse over the deaths.

In addition, he prayed for the wounded police officers to heal quickly.

In solidarity with the families of the police officers who were killed, the minister sent them his sincere sympathies and condolences.

A homage to the policemen who have attained the pinnacle of martyrdom was also extended by him.

Minister,Inspector General Punjab’s report was requested by Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
