A copy of Rizwan Saeed Sheikh’s credentials as Pakistan’s ambassador to the US were handed today at a ceremony held in the US State Department.
During the customary ceremony, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Horst and Assistant Secretary of State Donald Lu for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs were present.
Ambassador Sheikh expressed his excitement to do his utmost to strengthen the bilateral ties between Pakistan and the United States during his remarks on the occasion.
In order to achieve this, he specifically underlined the importance of increasing the frequency of high-level encounters, economic ties, and people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
