Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates, has received heartfelt congratulations from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, on his appointment as the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister in a message of felicitation.

He wished them both well in their new pursuits and expressed excitement for the future development of our two countries’ bilateral ties and mutual collaboration.

The security arrangements in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Attock were reviewed by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi through an aerial visit.

The interior minister was pleased with the security measures and also gave a review of the overall state of affairs on the Swabi-Patargarh motorway segment during the airborne tour.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi stated that the government has taken all necessary steps to guarantee public order and protect people’s lives and property in accordance with the Supreme Court of Islamabad’s judgements.

He gave credit to the rangers and the FC’s officials and staff for their hard work.

According to Mohsin Naqvi, the government, law enforcement, and police are ready to tackle any scenario.

Anti-Power Theft Campaign: Government Crackdown on Power Theft Recovers 133 Billion Rupees

Considerable success has been made in the government’s attempts to boost Pakistan’s economy, particularly in the fight against power theft.

Since September 2023, the program has recovered more than 133 billion rupees and apprehended more than 87,343 power thieves nationally.

In only the last week, authorities have arrested 314 people for unlawful power use and seized over 1 billion and 6.5 million rupees from power theft.

Relevant organizations have promised to keep working until electricity theft is completely eliminated nationwide.
