Ameer Balaj case: The organised crime unit captures more suspects.

In a significant development in the murder of Ameer Balaj, the Organised Crime Unit apprehended Malik Sohail. The apprehended suspect allegedly arranged Ahsan Shah’s encounter with Teefi Butt.

According to reports, Malik Sohail drove Ahsan Shah, who had his face hidden, to Teefi Butt’s apartment from Kalma Chowk, and Shah turned off his phone before meeting.

Furthermore, reports revealed that Malik Sohail accompanied Ahsan Shah to his four to five sessions with Teefi Butt.

Ameer Balaj Tipu, the son of Arif Ameeir aka Tipu Truckanwala (a commodities transport network), was shot dead last Sunday in what police termed as a deliberate attack near Lahore’s Thokar Niaz Beg neighbourhood.

According to authorities, the incident occurred during a wedding ceremony in a residential society near Thokar Niaz Beg, when an armed assailant opened fire on Balaj Tipu, who had recently joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), killing him on the scene.

Police revealed that two additional people were injured by bullets during the shooting. Meanwhile, authorities reported that the suspect was also killed in retaliatory firing by Tipu’s gunmen.

The police stated they are thoroughly investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and the possible intentions behind it.

Balaj Tipu was the son of Arif Amir, commonly known as Tipu Truckanwala, who was shot dead in the Allama Iqbal airport parking lot in 2010.
