The government of Punjab has reserved Rs 187 billion for the police force in the budget for 2024-25.
There has been no change to this amount from last year’s budget.
According to sources, police authorities were anticipating a budget increase in response to the increasing number of terrorist attacks. But the government is going to keep the same amount of money as last year.
