Yong Ye, the Asian Development Bank’s country director, also paid the president a visit and gave him an update on the bank’s contribution to Pakistan’s socioeconomic development.
The President expressed gratitude to the bank for helping Pakistan during the floods.
He outlined Pakistan’s efforts to combat climate change, highlighting the mangrove forests that cover millions of acres of land.
The bank’s assistance to Pakistan in the areas of agriculture, irrigation, and education was also acknowledged by the President.
