In Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a terrible landslide in Patrak claimed the lives of at least 13 people, including women and children.
According to rescue sources, a landslide occurred late at night due to heavy rainfall. One man, seven children, and four women from the same household are among the dead.
Because of the area’s high rainfall, the soil eroded, causing a landslide that tragically happened. The impacted families are receiving support from the authorities, who are also taking action to stop such occurrences from happening in the future.
