Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has denounced the assault on the party’s candidate running in PS-46 Mirpurkhas-II.
Bilawal denounced the “cowardly” assault on Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah in his letter. The former FM wished for Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah’s quick recovery and insisted on identifying those responsible for the attack.

According to specifics, the ECP was made aware of the incident and requested a report from the IG Balochistan and the chief secretary.
Suspects involved in such instances would face legal proceedings in accordance with election legislation, according to an ECP official.
