As a result of some anarchist forces attacking and destroying the Parliament on August 19, 2014, it will go down in Pakistani history as a “Black Day.”
Parliament House was besieged and attacked ten years ago today, and the assault was a horrific plot against democracy, according to a statement issued by Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq denouncing the incident.
It is everyone’s duty to respect and safeguard Parliament, the Speaker declared, adding that no one could ever breach its sanctity.
