In response to increasing pollution levels in Punjab, authorities have once again restricted traffic on certain motorways in the interest of commuter safety.
The following motorways have been closed: M-2, Lahore–Sialkot Motorway; M-3, Lahore–Darkhana; M-4, Pindi Bhattian–Multan; and M-5, Multan–Rohri. This information was provided by Syed Imran Ahmad, a spokesperson for the motorway police.
According to the representative, people should not waste time on unnecessary trips and should instead travel during the day, specifically between 10 am and 6 pm.
When driving, he advised using both front and rear fog lights, not going too fast, and keeping a safe distance from other cars.
If anyone wants to know more, he said to call helpline 130.
