Shakespeare’s 400th birthday in Pakistan

LAHORE: British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson Friday praised 400th birthday of English artist, writer and on-screen character William Shakespeare with Pakistani understudies in Lahore.

Johnson, who is on a two-day visit to Pakistan, posted a gathering photograph of the event with a message: “an acknowledgment of social ties”.

Shakespeare is generally viewed as the best essayist in the English dialect and the world’s pre-famous playwright. He is frequently called England’s national artist
