Sajal Aly emphasizes that life should not solely revolve around the institution of marriage.

Sajal Aly discussed the concept of marriage being regarded as the final objective in a girl’s life, regardless of her academic or professional accomplishments, during a recent interview with a digital magazine.

Aly attributed this view to societal conditioning when expressing her thoughts. “In our society, girls are frequently informed that regardless of their education, they will eventually be expected to marry, start a family, and have children, which I do not believe is incorrect,” she stated.

“Marriage is a sublime notion, and I believe that with a supportive partner, it is not as onerous as it is often depicted, regrettably, intimidating some women with the prospect,” remarked the ‘Kuch Ankahi’ celebrity.

She expressed that if one has been fortunate enough to discover a suitable companion and both individuals are mutually supportive, then there is no detriment in entering into matrimony. Indeed, life should encompass more than just the institution of marriage. Having the appropriate support system in your relationship can make it a splendid and significant aspect of life, but it should not be considered the ultimate goal.

The actor emphasized the significance of females’ education and stated, “Education is the foundation of autonomy, and it is an ongoing journey, rather than simply acquiring knowledge in a classroom to obtain a degree.” Women should strive for autonomy by pursuing education, but they should also ensure that they maintain their individual identity during this journey.

It is worth mentioning that Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir, who are both actors, got married in March 2020. The former couple separated at some point the next year and finalized their legal divorce in March 2022.

On the professional front, Aly’s most recent appearance was in the highly successful drama series ‘Kuch Ankahi’, where he acted with Shehryar Munawar and Bilal Abbas Khan.
