Quaid-e-Azam University to rename division as ‘Abdus Salam Center for Physics

Head administrator Nawaz Sharif Monday (today) gave his endorsed renaming the National Center for Physics at Quaid-e-Azam University after Nobel Laureate Dr Abdus Salam.

As indicated by subtle elements, the Prime Minister guided the Ministry of Education to send the synopsis trying to change the name of the National Physics Center to Dr Abdus Salam Center for Physics, for endorsement to the President of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister settled on the choice remembering Dr Abdus Salam’s accomplishments in the field of Physics. In 1979, Dr Abdus Salam won the Nobel Prize in Physics for Pakistan.
