Nawaz Sharif, President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, has spoken hope regarding the stability and potential enhancement of Pakistan’s relations with the United States following President-Elect Donald Trump’s decisive victory in the recent US elections.

The PML-N President stated that the Indian cricket team ought to have visited Pakistan for the forthcoming Champions Trophy 2025, which may have enhanced bilateral relations.

Nawaz criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on smog pollution in Punjab, questioning, “Where is the billion-tree tsunami? Where are the billion trees, the 5 million jobs, and the dams?” I am unable to perceive anything. PTI should identify the project initiated during its governance at the federal level.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam stated that the smog issue has persisted for long years and cannot be rectified instantaneously; nonetheless, we are exerting our utmost efforts to address it. We are undertaking all necessary measures to address this issue. No measures were implemented previously to address this issue.

A response to an intra-party election case has been granted an extension by PTI.

The matter involving PTI’s intra-party elections was heard by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), and the party once again asked for more time to respond.

Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, chairman of the PTI, and petitioner Akbar S. Babar were both present before a two-member ECP court that heard the matter.

In response to PTI’s plea for additional time to respond, the Election Commission extended the deadline.

Additional case proceedings will not resume until December 4, per the commission’s adjournment.

Surrounded by heavy security, 18 districts in Sindh will be holding by-elections.

Local body by-elections, including Karachi, have been going on in 18 districts across Sindh.

Voting in Pakistan began at 8:00 AM and will run continuously until 5:00 PM, as reported by the Election Commission of Pakistan. On the ballot this year are 173 candidates from a wide range of political and religious affiliations. A fierce contest is set to unfold between PPP, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), and independent candidates backed by the PTI.

The by-elections in Karachi have been well prepared for in terms of security, with 136 out of 167 polling locations being deemed very sensitive and 26 being deemed sensitive. At each of the vulnerable voting places, eight to twelve police officers have been stationed.

The warning came during a meeting at the Karachi Police Office (KPO) that was chaired by City Police Chief Javed Alam Odho.

There is a possibility of violence between party supporters, according to police sources, in addition to the terror alert. More police have been sent out in an effort to prevent a confrontation.

Authorities should designate all voting booths as “very sensitive” and send Rangers to reduce the likelihood of rigging, according to JI’s Karachi Ameer Monem Zafar.

Combating Terrorism: Twelve Terrorists Destroyed in Separate Operations by Security Forces

Eleven terrorists and Kharijis were killed in two separate intelligence-based operations in Balochistan’s Miran Shah District and North Waziristan. One of the victims was Sana Alias Baru, a high-value target.

In the vicinity of Miran Shah in North Waziristan, security forces successfully fought the Khwarij, leading to the death of eight and injury of six.

The general region of Balgatar, Kech District, Balochistan was earlier the scene of an Intelligence-Based Operation that resulted in the deaths of four terrorists, one of them was a high-value target.

Authorities in Kech District were actively seeking Baru, who had a pivotal role in recruiting members of the so-called Majeed Brigade, particularly suicide bombers.

Among the terrorists’ possessions were weapons and ammo.

In order to eradicate any lingering terrorists in the vicinity, a sanitation operation is currently under progress.

With unwavering resolve, the Pakistani security forces will eradicate the terrorist threat from the nation.
