PAKvsENG: Rawalpindi Test traffic plan released

Chief Traffic Officer Beenish Fatima described the plan, which calls for the deployment of 370 traffic police officers, including 318 wardens, 40 inspectors, and eight DSPs.

Arrangements for Traffic:

Murree Road Closure: The road will be closed from Faizabad to Double Road during team arrivals and departures.
Other Routes: Traffic will be rerouted to Saidpur Road and the Expressway from Faizabad.
Road Closure at the Stadium: Throughout the game, the road between Double Road Turn and 9th Avenue Chowk will be blocked.
Parking and Shuttle Service There will be five parking lots available, and there will be shuttles to the stadium.

Advice to the Public:

Campaigns to Raise Awareness: To alert commuters to other routes, banners will be erected at strategic points.
Social Media and FM Radio: Updates and advice will be available on the CTP’s social media accounts and FM radio station.

“To ensure smooth traffic flow during the cricket match, we encourage citizens to cooperate with traffic police,” Chief Traffic Officer Beenish Fatima stated. “We have made complex arrangements to guarantee commuter convenience.”
