On a special invitation from his Russian counterpart, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq departed for Russia with a legislative delegation for a three-day visit.
Sher Ali Arbab, Rana Mohammad Hayat Khan, Dr. Mohammad Farooq Sattar, Syed Agha Rafiullah, and Mnas Abdul Qadir Patel are also part of the parliamentary delegation.
The visit’s goal is to foster legislative ties in order to improve relations between Pakistan and Russia.
The foreign minister, deputy prime minister, Russian counterpart, and other political figures will meet separately with the speaker of the national assembly.
MOUs will be inked during the visit to encourage legislative exchanges between the two nations.
The gathering will also concentrate on improving commerce, bilateral ties, and other areas.
Both internationally and regionally, Pakistan-Russia relations are seen as significant.
