Government authorities persist in their endeavours to eliminate drugs, smuggling, hoarding, and electricity theft from the country.

In 2024, officials confiscated 125,736 metric tonnes of fertiliser, 19,471 metric tonnes of sugar, and 7,132 metric tonnes of wheat.

Furthermore, 272,822 cigarette stocks, 23,384 textile bolts, and 15.11 litres of petrol were confiscated.

In the 2024 anti-electricity theft effort, 77.226 billion rupees were recovered, and 61,165 individuals were apprehended for stealing.

In 2024, government authorities will have confiscated 246.6 metric tonnes of drugs to eradicate the drug crisis nationwide.
